The creature and human conflict/connection were big themes to tackle in a short sequence. It was a challenge to match the beauty and detail of the production design. Our goal was to create 3D elements that were lifelike, creating the look of refraction through the glass of the museum exhibit and interpreting the Muybridge motion studies in a new and interesting way that felt like it communicated this tension between the subjects and the gaze of the observer.
